HOW CHRISTIANS WON at NICAEA
It seems like a "God - wonder" how a smal, seemingly obscure and "persecuted" sect named christians, gained control on the Roman Empire. The key is fanatism + political demagogy + USURY. Especially the last... The key to fanatism was the promise of "eternal life". Demagogy in roman politics (populares) was financed by money. Finally usury, sacking the empire finances. As Cicero said : "A city cannot survive traitors from within" And Cicero had hard times because he accused some jewish bankers on exporting gold from the Empire, to Persia.

You may be perplexed, knowing how usury was forbidden by the Church. Yes, after Nicaea, 300 years LATER! I intend no debatte here about the existence or inexistence of the story in the Gospels. Facts and persons can well exist. Then... a scenarist take a real story and make a script. The script is adapted, adjusted. Then a movie is cast. You get the picture - between the facts and the scripts are intermediary.
